The purpose of the club is to enjoy model railroading and share our hobby with the general public.  We are a dynamic group of modelers trying to raise the standard of modular railroading. Our goal is to become regionally and nationally recognized for our work.

The Colorado & Great Western Modular Railroad Club is a non-profit HO club in Colorado. Started in 1997 by four HO scale model railroaders living in the Denver area. who were interested in constructing modules that could be interconnected to form large operating layouts for the pleasure of display and operation.  The club built four corner modules as common club property in order to accommodate the various modules planned by the individual club members. Today the club has 20 active members. We are able to display a layout in various configurations in excess of 20' X 80'.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who wants to share his or her interest in the world of HO model trains. For an annual membership fee of $75.00, a new member receives a one year membership, a club name badge and a set of our module and club standards.

Perspective members are invited to get involved with the club by joining us in our activities attend a few meetings and observe the us first hand. This is the best way to introduce yourself and evaluate your interest in joining the club while giving both sides an opportunity to interact with each other.
