Denver Mart closing end of March

Some might have seen this on the news tonight on the Denver CBS Affiliate Vendors Prepare To Move On From Denver Mart: ‘COVID-19 Didn’t Help’ – CBS Denver (cbslocal.com)

The Denver Mart has been the location for the annual spring TCA train show. We noticed the TCA folks had quickly made the following post on Facebook:

"First, the Show Will Go On!. As reported by CBS Denver the The Denver Mart is closing. We were notified on Friday, February 5th. We are actively looking for a new venue for the March 2022 show. Requiring more than 130,000 sf. is a tall order and there are several facilities capable of this that are in the Denver Metro Area. Our first concern if of course for the owners and the friends that we have made at the Mart over the last 13 years.

This will not affect our Holiday Show which is held at The Ranch Events Complex Thanksgiving weekend.

What we do know is that if you are a vendor table and booth prices will increase. If you are an attendee we may have to increase the ticket fee from $10.00 per adult. We will try to continue our tradition of free admission for children under 13 years of age. We will continue our practice of providing tickets to Veterans, Active Military and First Responders through Veteran Tickets Foundation - Vet Tix it is the least we can do for those who do so much for us."
