The club participated in the 27th annual RAILS IN THE ROCKIES train show, which was held on September 21th and 22th, 2024 at the Estes Park Event Center in Estes Park, Colorado. The show, organized by the Estes Valley Model Railroaders, featured working exhibits of all gauges from the tiny “Z” to the toy train “G” gauge along with British and German railroads.

It is with a heavy heart that the CGWRR family is sharing the passing of Warren Mizell.
For those not around in the early formative days of our club, Warren played a huge part in helping our club get started. Countless events hanging out in the back of the his store Mizell's Trains on Wednesday's "donut" night. As the club grew he supported us by even renting a storefront next to his shop and letting us work and display our layout during the Holiday season.
