Train Shows
The Colorado & Great Western Modular Railroad is a vibrant HO-scale model railroad club that captures the spirit of Colorado through its evolving modular layouts. The club’s design ethos centers on recreating the diverse, breathtaking scenery found throughout Colorado—from its majestic mountain ranges and sprawling plains to the quaint, historic towns that dot the landscape. Each module contributes to a dynamic, ever-changing tapestry that reflects both the natural beauty and the rich railroad heritage of the Centennial State.
Each year the club attends several train shows either along the Colorado front range or regionally. In a typical year the club will do 5 to 6 train events. Below is the listing of train shows we have planned for the year, and their status
We are excited to announce our 2026 train show calendar. The early line-up of Trains shows for us in 2026 include 4 shows already in the planing phase. There are two other shows we are just waiting on details and dates before we decide:

- Sherman Hill Train Show – June 13th-14th, 2026

- Colorado Rail Proto Meet (RPM) – October 17th & 18th, 2026
- Rocky Mountain Holiday Train Show – November 2026
- Boulder Model Railroad Show – December 11th-13th, 2026
